foodpanda Riders Play Mobile Legends for a Chance at PHP 1M

 

With about Php 1,000,000 in prizes given out, foodpanda logistics recently wrapped up Panda Legends: Ride & Conquer, a nationwide Mobile Legends competition for its Ka-panda delivery partners.

A grand championship event was hosted in Metro Manila after the competition, which was part of Foodpanda Logistics' continuous efforts to improve community participation among delivery partners, had several stages, including regional qualification rounds and regional championship games.

“We aim to continuously engage our Ka-pandas not just on the road, but also through activities they enjoy, like gaming. Through this Mobile Legends tournament, we provided them with a platform to showcase their skills, build camaraderie, and have fun while competing,” said Ron Sanders, Rider Experience Lead at foodpanda Logistics.

 

Sponsors GoTyme, DITO, Motivo, and Kawasaki helped make the event feasible, which made it a thrilling and fulfilling experience for everyone who took part.

 

For many riders, gaming served as a way to unwind after long hours on the road. John Lloyd Trasmote, a Ka-panda partner biker from Cebu City, shared his experience: “Magandang pagkakataon ito para sa aming mga Ka-panda na mag-bonding at ipakita ang galing natin sa gaming. Ang saya makita na sinusuportahan tayo ng foodpanda logistics sa pamamagitan ng ganitong mga activities.”

Similarly, John Kenneth Mian from Davao expressed his appreciation: “Matagal na akong naglalaro ng Mobile Legends, at nakakatuwang isipin na makasama ko yung mga kapwa ko rider sa isang actual competition.”
