InLife Celebrates Double Win at Insurance Asia Awards 2026
These achievements demonstrate InLife's dedication to constantly changing while staying loyal to its 115-year goal of assisting Filipinos in achieving financial security.
InLife's excellent performance in digital transformation, governance, sustainable growth, distribution expansion, and customer-focused innovation was honored with the Domestic Life Insurer of the Year – Philippines award. As for the Brand Transformation—the Philippines award honored InLife's rich Filipino heritage while recognizing the company's successful transformation into a more contemporary and relatable brand.
"These two awards represent the best of who we are as an organization. One recognizes our ability to deliver meaningful business results through innovation, sound governance, and customer-focused solutions. The other affirms that our brand continues to resonate with Filipinos because it reflects our purpose and our promise of A Lifetime for Good," said InLife Executive Chairperson Nina D. Aguas.
By converting data into AI-ready assets and implementing automation that shortened the time it took to issue policies from three to five days to as little as five minutes through auto-issuance, InLife accelerated its digital capabilities and secured the financial future of more Filipinos. Along with strengthening its governance and risk management efforts, InLife was recognized as the top-ranked life insurer in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard and received four Golden Arrow Awards.
With a 16% increase in New Business Annualized Premium Equivalent, InLife outperformed the industry average and demonstrated robust business growth. In the meantime, its bancassurance partnership with UnionBank achieved 51 percent year-over-year growth, which was its best performance since the partnership started in 2017.
InLife kept expanding its product line to better meet the changing needs of Filipinos. The Retirement Readiness Index and Retire Assure, the nation's first real retirement plan that offers monthly pension benefits from ages 60 to 100, helped close the retirement gap. By acquiring InLife Benefits (formerly Generali Philippines), it also increased the range of employee benefits options.
With its "Love In Life" brand philosophy, which emphasizes empowerment, love, and a sense of belonging, InLife simplified its brand identity in 2025. The company's digital platforms, customer communications, and products all underwent the transformation, establishing a consistent brand experience for clients, staff, and financial advisors through offices, employee, and agency force engagement programs.
Additionally, "Love In Life" presented InLife as a reliable partner that helps Filipinos at every stage of life. Social media, radio, out-of-home advertising, and traditional media were used to spread the word about the campaign.
"As we move forward, we will continue to innovate with discipline, listen more closely to the evolving needs of our customers, and strengthen the trust that generations of Filipinos have placed in InLife. These recognitions inspire us to keep raising the bar so we can create greater value for our policyholders, financial advisors, employees, partners, and the communities we serve," said Aguas.
For over 115 years, InLife has remained committed to helping Filipinos build brighter financial futures through innovative insurance, health, retirement, and wealth solutions. Guided by its purpose of offering A Lifetime for Good, the Company continues to transform its business, strengthen customer experience, and create sustainable value for all its stakeholders.
