Synopsis
The series revolves around the narcissistic Lee Young Joon, the vice president of a company run by his family. He is very self-absorbed and thinks highly of himself, so much that he barely acknowledges the people around him. Lee Young Joon has a capable and patient secretary in Kim Mi So who has remained by his side and worked diligently for 9 years without any romantic involvement. However, Mi So now want to set her life & focus on herself so when she decides to resign from her job, hilarious misunderstandings ensue. After 9 years of their strictly-workplace relationship, can it now develop in something more?

Review
I started the drama late thinking it was just another CEO x Secretary Office Romance but I swear, once you see the first episode, you'll be hooked. Each episode is one hour plus but time flies when you're watching this like you can watch a couple of episodes in one sitting.The chemistry between the actors is superb. There's this rumor that they're dating way before the drama and if it's true then that explains the chemistry they're showing, if not then they are really good actors.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of villains like exes who try to win you back since usually it will make their relationship stronger but in this drama, there will be no exes or other people who will hinder their relationship.
I love how the minor characters also had their own happy ending. The last two episodes were abit draggy like I feel they were filler episodes or what but overall, the drama is really really nice like you must watch it if you want to watch something light with lots of "kilig" or romantic excitement moment.
Will you watch it again?

There was a trailer or a snippet of this drama that I watched in facebook. It was the part when Kim Mi So has to buy a bouquet of flowers for the girl in the party she came in with Lee Young Joon. I was thinking the same like you, that it is another CEO X SECRETARY type of drama and although it is one of my favorite tropes, I decided to pass in this one until I saw the said snippet. I started watching it and enjoyed it until episode 5. Episode six to episode 7 started to became annoying for me. They're pushing and pulling and there are unnecessary 'filler' scenes for me. In the middle of episode 8, I decided to stop.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely try to finish it some other time but for now, I stopped. I am also annoyed with the WHO WAS REALLY KIDNAPPED BETWEEN THE BROTHERS AND WHAT REALLY HAPPENED twist. Lol. But unlike other dramas that I stopped watching and did not bother to watch again, I really want to see this through eve if it takes me a little longer to continue watching.
Currently, my sister's already watching and she's on the tenth episode already. She likes it. And a lot of people are telling me that they like it too, so I am not surprised after I read this review. Thanks! :)
Hi! Sorry for the late response. Actually, I felt the same. Ever since I started to watch Meteor Garden 2018, What's Wrong Secretary Kim became 'boring' for me but I decided to finish it since I really want to unravel the truth and finally get over it.
